Antivirus/Anti-Spyware Software
U-M supplies commercial anti-virus software, which is configured to check for updates regularly while protecting student computers against adware and spyware. Students arriving in the fall can select from several on-campus locations where they follow self-guided instructions for patching their operating system and installing anti-virus software.
Additionally, information about computer virus prevention and eradication is available throughout campus. Those who suspect their computer has a virus may visit the university's computer support and repair center.
